NEXT SUNDAY
Pastor Tom will be preaching on the topic of "Sin and The Serpent" from the text of Genesis 3:14-19. This is where out battle with sin began and it has plagued us ever since. Mark Schar will share his work with the hospital clinic near his home in Costa Rica, and a special mission love offering will be received.

Church History Items
We are looking for several items related to our 150^th anniversary celebration and we need your help. If you have any photos (black and white, color, old, recent, framed, or rolled) that show our church building (interior or exterior), church events (wedding, funeral, VBS S.S. parties, fellowship activities, etc), former members, former pastors, or anything else that is connected to our history - we’d like to scan them in to the data base so that they can be displayed and shared. If you have old paper items (such as letters, bulletins, newsletters, directories, etc), we’d like to include them in our archive display. If you have any information about the early members of our church, please contact Mike McNaull, Shirley Boyd, or Pastor Tom; we’d really like to record your information. WELCOME

to the website of the Ashland Dickey Church of the Brethren. We are a community of believers who follow the teachings of Jesus Christ as they are recorded in the Bible and as they are revealed by the Holy Spirit.
We worship together every Sunday morning and gather together at other times in a variety of small-group settings with active ministries for all ages.
Our mission has three distinct components: Evangelism, Discipleship and Service. Every event and activity is designed to help us accomplish what God has called us to do.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

District Conference

Brothers and Sisters from all across the Northern Ohio District will converge on Ashland this week-end for the annual District Conference at the A.U. Convocation Center. Worship services will be held on Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday morning with Insight sessions after the worship services on Friday night and Saturday night. The business session will be held throughout the day on Saturday and the Silent Peace auction will conclude on Saturday evening. Come and enjoy this time of fellowship, information and inspiration.

Mark Schar is working with a medical clinic near his home in Costa Rica and there is a critical need for supplies. Mark will be here on Sunday, Aug 1, to talk about the ministry, and the Stewardship Commission and the Ministry Commission have authorized a special Mission Love Offering for the Costa Rica Clinic. Please come prepared to share that Sunday morning with an extra gift of love.
