children's church
Children's Church is held during the 10:45am Morning Worship Service on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month for ages PreK-5th Grade. Our Children's Church program is a very special church service designed to engage younger minds. During our time we share joys and concerns, have morning prayer, take an offering, sing songs of praise, and have a short meditation. This service is designed to be slightly more interactive to keep the children engaged but still help train them for when it is their time to be in church. Children should be sure to bring their Bibles and they are always encouraged to share. The goal of this program is to help children understand what church is about, why we do the things we do in church and how they can participate and be involved.

Mizpah Adult Sunday School Class
For January-February 2012 - the Mizpah Adult Fellowship Class (in the basement Fellowship Hall) will be studying Dr. David Jeremiah's I Never Thought I'd See the Day! The world is changing rapidly around us. We are witnessing upheavals in the world structures and values -- even in the church -- that we never thought we would see. This study looks at a biblical evaluation of nine changes in our world that we did not anticipate: angry atheists, profaning Jesus Christ, redefining marriage, etc. This study will show us the Bible's plan for standing firm on the Truth in the midst of these upheavals. Discussion leaders are Kathy Hess and Dave McCormic.

Adult Sunday School Class
Emily Hess and Heather Burns will be leading a new adult Sunday School class beginning on January 1. The class will study Francis Chan’s book Crazy Love, with a specific emphasis of helping Christians develop a more authentic relationship with God that can be lived out in daily life. The class will be of a mixed age group - anyone from the age of 18 to 98 is welcome.
